GSCCC President's Award
The President's Award recognizes the efforts of a service team whose exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) surpassed team goals and resulted in significant, measurable impact toward reaching the Council's overall goals.
All service team members are registered adult Girl Scouts.
All service team members have met all requirements and expectations of the positions held.
The service delivery team has significantly contributed to meeting one or more of the Council's mission delivery goals.
The service delivery team reflects the diversity of the target audience or area it serves, in girl and adult membership.
The service delivery team actively recognizes, understands and practices the values of inclusive behaviors.
Submission Instructions and Deadline
Complete the application below by November 1, 2017, for the 2016-2017 membership year.
Notification and Presentation
The nominator will receive notification of approval or denial of award within three weeks of the submission deadline. Shortly after notification to nominators, service teams approved for the award will receive an invitation to Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast's Annual Awards Luncheon following the Annual Council Meeting in February, where awards will be presented by the Council board chair and CEO. The cost of the luncheon will be covered for up to four service team members.
